Sun-Seekers is set in a '90s aesthetic futuristic city, that has never seen daylight due to all the grey clouds and pollution. Sol is from a people group called the Sun-Seekers, who believe that there is a sun above the clouds that cover all of earth. The Sun-Seeker people live independently from the rest of the city and illegally practice the heritage of nature. After a vision, Sol decides to join his grandfather's research of finding, "the place in the sun", which has caused controversy in the community. Sol has a passion for tinkering and how things work, so he attends the community college under an alias. There, he meets Winnie, a shy socialite who is living in the shadows of her cousin Shasta and their family's prestige in cosmetic surgeries. When his grandfather and family is detained by the authorities, Sol and his sister Talulah embark to escape the city to reunite with his family in the place in the sun.
